South America Tours
You'll need to take plenty of shoes to South America. So many places, so many shoes. You'd better take a big bag.
Places to Visit in South America
First up you'll need your comfortable walking shoes to explore the world's greatest living wilderness, the Amazon Rain-forest. As far as bucket-list environments go, this is a doozy. Next, slip into your city shoes – perhaps red heels for the women, black brogues for the men – so that you can tango the night away in Buenos Aires and samba up a storm in Rio de Janeiro.
Then it's on with the hiking boots to trek the Inca Trail to the magnificent site of Machu Picchu. (While the boots are on, hike in Patagonia and walk across the salt plains of Bolivia too.) Next, pull on your flippers and take to the water in the Galapagos Islands to swim with the huge array of wildlife. Finally, don your strolling shoes to explore local towns, visit wineries and shop in the markets.
